Beast Style Burger

Another Delivery Exclusive: MrBeast Burger

Earlier this week we had a Virtual Lunch and Learn and we were given $25 DoorDash gift cards to order something for lunch. Unfortunately, I wasn’t able to order something for the day of the Lunch and Learn so I decided to save it for dinner on Friday. After scrolling endlessly through the Offers section of DoorDash I came across a place that fit the bill of exactly what I was looking for.

DoorDash App

You may remember the very first Delivery Exclusive Adventure that I did with Flavortown Kitchen. When I posted that Adventure someone commented about how there was another place that had a concept like that called MrBeast Burger. After a little research, I noticed that this concept restaurant was still fairly new, as in only 6 months old. It was created by a YouTuber known as MrBeast which, to be honest, I have never heard of him.

Virtual Brand Notice

The app calls out that this is a Virtual Brand just to make sure you know exactly what you are getting. Although when I was watching to see where the driver was picking up the food the location was near Red Robin. I’m curious if that is where the food is being cooked up at. It would make sense since they already cook up burgers.

Two Ingredient Cocktail

While I waited for my food to arrive I decided to get a drink in hand to enjoy. I finally decided tonight would be the night when I would whip out some specialty mixers my mom got me for my birthday. She enjoys going to the farmer’s markets around Arizona. Out in Phoenix, they have a multitude of different vendors selling specialty and artisan food and ingredients. This particular stand is called Shrubwell and they create a variety of tart and fruity botanical mixers. For this Adventure, I decided I would try the Cucumber Ginger Rose mix. One sniff of the mix and you can tell there was a powerful smell of ginger. These mixers can be used to make not only cocktails but mocktails as well. However, I decided to mix in vodka since this is Happy Hour after all.

Cucumber Ginger Rose Martini

  • 2 oz vodka
  • 1 oz Cucumber Ginger Rose mix

Looking through all of the ingredients listed I found some other interesting additions put into the mix. It uses a little bit of white wine vinegar, rice vinegar, and whole green cardamom which I’m sure adds to the green coloring. I think the kinds of vinegar that were added helped in creating a strong smell of the mix. After thoroughly mixing with ice in the shaker, I poured it into the chilled martini glass which was the perfect size for this libation. This cocktail is unlike anything I’ve ever had before because of the unique ingredients involved. The ginger is the main star of the show but then you get small refreshing notes from the cucumber. I haven’t had too much rose water so I can’t say for certain if I did experience any of those tasting notes. I’ll have to see if I can find other ways to utilize this mixer.

Giant Sticker

Before I knew it there was a knock at the door and as soon as the driver dropped off the food they were gone. If I didn’t know better I would have thought the food was just magically brought there since I didn’t see anyone. There is a giant sticker on the bag to show off that it is indeed from MrBeast Burger. They have an app based on the looks of it. Luckily for me, I found a $3 off deal on DoorDash which I know isn’t the biggest savings, but it is still savings.

Colorful Box

Just like Flavortown Kitchen the food came packaged in a brightly covered box covered in graphics. Although I’d have to say the Flavortown packaging had a lot more going on than this one.

Seasoned Fries

I’ll start with the most disappointing item which was the fries. The taste of these fries just tasted like oil which was quite unfortunate because the seasoning sounded amazing. They were coated with spicy red pepper, garlic, paprika, sugar, and a hint of lime. I tasted a bit of the spicy red pepper but for the most part, the greasy flavor just overcame everything else.

Nashville Hot Chicken Tender Sandwich

Next up was the Nashville Hot Chicken Tender sandwich. At first glance, I noticed that the chicken just had a seasoning on it. Whenever I’ve had Nashville Hot Chicken I’m used to seeing it dunked in a chili oil sauce to give it that glistening look. The spice was not too spicy in my opinion which was disappointing since I was looking for something to put some flames to my tastebuds. One thing I do have to say is that the chicken itself was some of the crispiest chicken in my life. I love biting into a crispy chicken because of the extra crunch it gives to a sandwich. Good thing there was a crunch because it was the ideal accompaniment to the soft sweet bun that it was sitting between. The pickles and lettuce added a nice fresh crispness while the mayo came in with its creaminess.

Beast Style Burger

Was I a bit hungry Friday night? Yes, yes I was. I did not have a proper lunch so I was starving! Plus how could I go to a place called MrBeast Burger and not get the Beast Style burger? A typical Beast Style Burger contains two smashed beef patties with gooey American cheese along with some crisp pickles. A burger is nothing without sauces which at MrBeast Burger is your typical ketchup, mayo, and the not-so-traditional brown mustard. Although I did not go with the typical Beast Style Burger, I had to add some enhancements with some crispy bacon and caramelized onions. Typically I am someone that likes a nice juicy patty to get all the wonderful beef taste. However, I am also a sucker for a thin crisp seasoned smashed patty because a lot of flavors develop when the seasonings are smashed in. The caramelized onions brought in some great sweet flavor which the nice soft bun did as well. I think the brown mustard was the perfect choice for the burger because it brings on a much powerful mustard flavor. Overall this was one tasty burger which I would have again.
